If you subscribe to our press releases

If you choose to subscribe to our press releases you will be asked to provide certain personal data about yourself, such as your name and email address. Your information will be used to administer the press releases. If you choose to end your subscription, your personal data will be deleted.

If you submit an application for employment or consulting assignment

If you choose to submit an application you will be asked to provide certain personal data about yourself such as name, contact details and relevant merits. Your information will be used to assess your application by, for example, checking your references, verifying provided information and other background information.

Your consent applies to all personal data that you provide in your application, any additional information that you provide to us in connection with your application and any other personal data we obtain from third parties in order to process your application, such as information about you that your stated references provided us with.

Who has access to your information?

BioArctic, or anyone BioArctic hires, will process personal data in order to manage your subscription or application. Your personal data may also be disclosed to third parties such as BioArctic’s suppliers, for example, IT suppliers, external companies that may be involved in the recruitment processes or who administer our mailings.

BioArctic is responsible for protecting your personal data that you provide us with and we take appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data.

Where are we processing your personal data?

Your personal data will mainly be processed within the EU/EEA. However, your personal data may in some situations be transferred to, and processed in, countries outside of EU/EEA by a supplier or subcontractor of BioArctic. BioArctic is determined to always protect your data, and therefore BioArctic will take all reasonable legal, technical and organizational measures to ensure that your personal data is processed securely and with an adequate level of protection comparable to and at the same level as the protection offered in EU/EEA.

How long will your personal data be stored?

BioArctic will save your personal data only for as long as the data in needed in order to fulfill contractual obligations, to assess your application for employment or consulting assignment, or as long as is mandatory because of legal requirements.
