At the most recent Assembly of the Academy seven individuals were elected members into the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences. Gunilla Osswald was elected member into IVA’s biotech division.
“It is a great honor for me to have been elected as a member of IVA. Biotech is important in the development of new innovative treatments for patients with high unmet medical needs, especially in the area of degenerative diseases in the central nervous system. Sweden is one of the leaders in biotech and I am enthusiastic about contributing to IVA’s activities,” says Gunilla Osswald, CEO of BioArctic.
The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences promotes the engineering and economic sciences and the development of industry for the benefit of society.
